Laoshan Qigong is classifed into two kinds of exercises methods: qigong action exercises and qigong meditation exercises. Laoshan qigong is a healthy fitness Qigong. When exercising , don’t stress yourself with your will. Not anxious, just relax and let it be. Had better exercise 1-2 times each day. No limit for duration.
First, the qigong exercise action
Starting position: feet open, same as shoulder width; Lifting the chest and shrink the abdomen. Looking at the front..
Push the hand palms forward, fingers slightly bent. Slowly lift up arms, fingers tips to the height of your eyes. Turn around your palm, palm downwards. Breathe, at the same time put down arms to the thigh on both sides.
Five fingers of two hands facing each other. Palm upwards, when breathing, two hands lifted up to chest. Then push your hands towards sky, look up with your eyes towards sky. Breathing at the same time, then put down your hands to the thigh on both sides.
Inhale, hands raised from the abdomen to the chest again. Then exhale, and push outwards(left and right) with your hands. Then drop down your hands.

Sitting cross-legged, sitting uprightly, to make a fist with the thumb above. Placed in the pubic region / lower abdomen. Slightly closed your eyes, tongue touching the palate, imagine defending the pubic region.
When breathing, collecting the qi around the public region, cultivating the dan.
Slowly stand up, naturally complete the qigong.
Naturally finish the qigong.

Qigong knowledge: Qigong therapy include psychological cure method. But it is different with psychological cure method which means doctors use language, expression, stance, attitude to explain reason or make suggestion to the patients in conscious or unconscious state. The patients are always passive. Qigong therapy can let patients initiatively engage in therapy.
The substantial difference between qigong and religion: Qigong is a kind of science, not involved in any doctrine of religions. The tao religion and buddhism have recorded much information about ancient qigong. Although there are many different kinds of qigong exercises, all of them put importance to the same reqirement: practising easily, harmony between qi and your minds, balance between action and cultivation, balance between action and meditation, gradual improving from easy level to difficult level, being persistent, controlling or refraining from your normal life. But not all people are suitable to practise qigong, those having mental diseases, massive haemorrhage, pyrogenic, acute disease or acute infectious disease are not suitable to practise qigong.
