cold-resistant healthy qigong exercises


Cold-resistant healthy qigong is originated from the kunlun qigong. It’s based on the principle of kunlun qigong:full qi didn’t fear of the cold. Accompany the lead by breathing, you can not only resist the cold, but also strengthen the muscles and bones. This kind of qigong is more suitable for the older, but also ok with the younger or physical weakness.
1. Exercise in the morning
Standing exercise, the width between two feet slightly wider than that between shoulders, knees slightly bent, standing easily, breathing easily, slightly close your eyes.
(1) Breathe out the old, breathe in the new
Inhale, use your noses to breathe in the fresh air. Imagine the righteous qi in the nature go in your body through the noses, cleasing all of your body parts. When inhale, slightly bent your abdomen, use your mouth to inhale, then imagine the dirty qi inside your body out of your mouth to exhale. Repeat the breath action for 9 times.

(2)method to operate the qi to resist the cold
The stance is like the above. When inhale, imagine all of the qi in your body to collect in the position of public region. Then hold the breath(don't do it with force, make it easily), the qi around the public region run through the route of large circle of vital energy. Accordingly, from public region-yongqun acupuncture point-huiyin acupuncture point-baihui acupuncture point-laogong acupuncture point-tanzhong acupuncture point-public region. When breathing, don’t concentrate your will too much, better to do it easily. The speed of qi would be travel faster. When the qi reach back to the public region, breathe easily, imagine the qi is spreaded inside all of your body parts. Then take a few easy breaths. Repeat it 9 times.
By using this method, generally, a mass of qi would generate in a month around the position of public region.

2. Sun Health Post
Two palms are away from the abdomen about 30cm, forming the hold stance. Imagine a sun emerges from the public region, it’s releasing golden lights to shine over your inside body. That makes you feel warm and transparent. Keeping the standing post stance for about 10 minutes, then complete the qigong action. How to complete this qigong action? Rub your palms to hot state, massage your head, face and tap your bellybutton. Work out all the knucles, take deep breath for 3 times. Do it 1 times in the morning, 30 minutes for each time.
