cold-resistant healthy qigong exercises


Cold-resistant healthy qigong is originated from the kunlun qigong. It’s based on the principle of kunlun qigong:full qi didn’t fear of the cold. Accompany the lead by breathing, you can not only resist the cold, but also strengthen the muscles and bones. This kind of qigong is more suitable for the older, but also ok with the younger or physical weakness.
1. Exercise in the morning
Standing exercise, the width between two feet slightly wider than that between shoulders, knees slightly bent, standing easily, breathing easily, slightly close your eyes.
(1) Breathe out the old, breathe in the new
Inhale, use your noses to breathe in the fresh air. Imagine the righteous qi in the nature go in your body through the noses, cleasing all of your body parts. When inhale, slightly bent your abdomen, use your mouth to inhale, then imagine the dirty qi inside your body out of your mouth to exhale. Repeat the breath action for 9 times.

(2)method to operate the qi to resist the cold
The stance is like the above. When inhale, imagine all of the qi in your body to collect in the position of public region. Then hold the breath(don't do it with force, make it easily), the qi around the public region run through the route of large circle of vital energy. Accordingly, from public region-yongqun acupuncture point-huiyin acupuncture point-baihui acupuncture point-laogong acupuncture point-tanzhong acupuncture point-public region. When breathing, don’t concentrate your will too much, better to do it easily. The speed of qi would be travel faster. When the qi reach back to the public region, breathe easily, imagine the qi is spreaded inside all of your body parts. Then take a few easy breaths. Repeat it 9 times.
By using this method, generally, a mass of qi would generate in a month around the position of public region.

2. Sun Health Post
Two palms are away from the abdomen about 30cm, forming the hold stance. Imagine a sun emerges from the public region, it’s releasing golden lights to shine over your inside body. That makes you feel warm and transparent. Keeping the standing post stance for about 10 minutes, then complete the qigong action. How to complete this qigong action? Rub your palms to hot state, massage your head, face and tap your bellybutton. Work out all the knucles, take deep breath for 3 times. Do it 1 times in the morning, 30 minutes for each time.

Lying dragon qigong exercises


The taoists often use the lying stance to practice qigong, called lying qigong. The lying dragon method is one of them. It uses a specific stance to regulate the pure qi to fastly generate, run and transit. It’s helpful to physical weakness, enhance constitution, cultivate the pure qi, cure diseases.

The action is noted as following:

1. Preparation type: Lying easily, legs straight, span distance of feets same as that of shoulders, palms facing upwards, slightly close your eyes, bite the teeth three times.
2. Dragon wagging tail: Inhale, forced foot-toes tips to hook towards the head, then shrink
abdomen, while imagine the kidney hooking towards the head, like the foot-toes tips, stop the action, hold the breath to observe the kidney in your minds for six seconds. Then exhale, straighten your foot-toes tips, relax your body, inhale and exhale for 1 times, repeat it 49 times.

3. Dragon Walks: Imagine the conception vessel and governor vessel to divide the body into two parts. When breathing, your right shoulder and right buttock brought right part of body to move upwards, while your left shoulder and left buttock brought left part of body to move downwards. Imagine two parts of the body divided by conception vessel and governor vessel are rubbed against each other. Inhale and exhale for 1 times, repeat the process 49 times.

4. Dragon go into the sea: Use the right middle fingertips to slightly press on the bellybutton. When inhale, use your right middle finger to heavily press vertically downwards. Imagine the fingertip touch your gate of life. Hold the breath to observe the gate of life for 6 seconds. Than exhale, relax and recover. Inhale and exhale for 1 times, repeat it 49 times.

5. Dragon bathing: Use your right thumb finertips to press on the bellybutton( thumb still ), open other four fingers , rub the lower abdomen with them, then return to rub the bellybutton. Concentrate your will on the rubbing part, up and down for 1 times, repeat it 49 times.

6. Dragon playing balls:
  For male, use right hand to catch the testicles, rub them with force based on the limit you can withstand. Just like playing health balls for about 1 minute. Then straighten the scrotum to pull your testicles to turn around. Clockwise and counter-clockwise for 49 times. Concentrate your will on your testicles.
For female, use two palms to cover the vagina, left hand counter-clockwise and right hand clockwise, rotate two palms for 49 times. Then left hand clockwise and right hand couter-clockwise, rotate two palms for 49 times. Concentrate your will on your vagina.

7. Dragon returning to palace: Use your right middle fingertips to slightly press on the bellybutton, clockwise or couter-clockwise slightly rotate the fingertips. Imagine the fingertips releasing a stream of light to draw circles in your abdomen. To feel the reaction of your gate of life. Breathe easily, repeate the process for 3 times.

8. Auxiliary method: Casual sleeping stance, relax your body, breathe easily. Imagine easily the sound of thunder, while imagine with the sound that the human body is transformed into a mass of pure qi. Time unlimited until you sleep.

Collecting the moon lights qigong exercises


This exercise method is created from the book of “xisui classic”.

Spirit is most important to human lives.

Cultivating spirit is the priority.

To collect the moon lights at night directly from the dark sky.

Take the moon lights into your niwan palace(center of public region).

Instead of the upper part of public region.

Niwan palace is resided with people’s pure yin.

It’s also the place of people’s will.

Use your nose to inhale.

Then put together with your will.

"I am in the light of the moon, the moon in my niwan palace"

Then gently inhale the moon lights with your nose.

Saliva will be generated after the moon lights go into your niwan palace.

Imagine the saliva with the moon lights were swallowed into the lower part of public region.

When breathing, use balanced and slow rhythm

When reach the limit, hold the breath.

When you had to breathe out, exhale easily and prepare the next process.

When swallow the saliva, you had better coordinate with the moon lights.

Qigong knowledge:
Generally, qigong can be divided into two categories: cultivating qi through meditation and practising qi through action. When taoists engage in meditation, they manipulate the qi into the public region, keeping the qi around public region. They wouldn't let qi to run away by the distracting thoughts. When martial artists engage in qigong exercises, they cultivate the qi through physical movement. If he wanna practise the arm muscle, he would manipulate the qi into his arms. If he wanna practise the waist muscle, he woul manipulate the qi into his waist. If he wanna put forth all his strength, he would manipulate the qi into all over his body. Qi is different from breath: Inhale belongs to yang, exhale belongs to yin; Inhale belongs to movement, exhale belongs to stillness. Inhale belongs to hard, exhale belongs to soft. So practising qigong is the integrated process of yin and yang, hard and soft, movement and stillness.
What is the harmony between men and heaven? Chinese qigong attach most importance in the harmony between men and heave. Ancient chinese think the human bodies are tightly related to the nature. The human bodies are affected by climate change, circumstance change and the social enviroment. There is probably a hypothesis in chinese traditional medical science that the human body is also another small cosmos. When people fall sick, that's because the disorder of this small cosmos. The purpose of practising qigong is to reach a harmonious state of the small cosmos.

Pure Aura Pure Yang qigong exercises


“Pure Aura Pure Yang” qigong is the practicing method from qizhen darkness sect. It uses pure aura position and a unique meditation method to create the pure yang qi. When you made achievements in this qigong, you can fly your body in the sitting cross-legged stance.

“Pure Aura Pure Yang” qigong method:
This qigong exercise put most importance into sitting stance. It is mainly about relaxing your heart and spirit. The most important part is the using of magnetic field, energy and light energy.

One. One Qi mixing

Use sitting cross-legged stance. Slightly raise your hands from knees. Turn over your palms facing your body, slightly rising to the position of tanzhong acupuncture point. Imagine there is qi mass around tanzhong acupuncture point and your hands. Your will won’t be too heavy. Now imagine you are sitting in this qi mass. Cultivate the qi mass for 10 minutes.

Two. Pure Aura Light Into Your Body

Continuing from the above action. Two hands rised above your head. Two palms faced obliquely each other. Turn your palms downwards, lower your palms. Now imagine there is white light inside your head, the light is full of your head. Lower your heads downwards to the position of your throat. Then imagine there is red light full of your body. When your hands down to the position of public region, separate your palms besides your body, then continuing lowering your hands. Imagine your hands releasing blue lights. This process would be repeated for about 10 minutes.

Three. Pure Aura Matter Flying

Continuing from the last action.
Lower your hands from above your head to two sides of your body. Imagine your hands releasing blue lights which collided with the magnetic field. It let body drift to sky. This is called pure aura flying. In order to reach this state, you must grasp the operation of your body magnetic field and the earth magnetic field. You would let the earth magnetic field to enhance the magnetic field inside your body. That would lead to pure aura flying. (generally, practicers can prove it in 3-10 days. )

Qigong knowledge: Qigong is gradually formed in many kinds of practices in production,living experiences and medical treatment. Anyways, qigong is not only related to the physical therapy, but also different from it. Physical therapy can't take place of qigong therapy. The physical or action qigong is only one  kind of qigong. Breathing and meditation play a crucial role in qigong exercises. So practising qigong would be the integration of action,breathing and meditation.

Laoshan qigong exercises


Laoshan Qigong is classifed into two kinds of exercises methods: qigong action exercises and qigong meditation exercises. Laoshan qigong is a healthy fitness Qigong. When exercising , don’t stress yourself with your will. Not anxious, just relax and let it be. Had better exercise 1-2 times each day. No limit for duration.

First, the qigong exercise action 

Starting position: feet open, same as shoulder width; Lifting the chest and shrink the abdomen. Looking at the front.. 

Push the hand palms forward, fingers slightly bent
. Slowly lift up arms, fingers tips to the height of your eyes. Turn around your palm, palm downwards. Breathe, at the same time put down arms to the thigh on both sides. 

Five fingers of two hands facing each other. Palm upwards, when breathing, two hands lifted up to chest. Then push your hands towards sky, look up with your eyes towards sky. Breathing at the same time, then put down your hands to the thigh on both sides.

Inhale, hands raised from the abdomen to the chest again. Then exhale, and push outwards(left and right) with your hands
.  Then drop down your hands.

Inhale, to make a fist strongly , then exhale to release your fists.

Naturally finish the qigong. 

Second, qigong meditation

Sitting cross-legged, sitting uprightly, to make a fist with the thumb above. Placed in the pubic region / lower abdomen. Slightly closed your eyes, tongue touching the palate, imagine defending the pubic region. 

When breathing, collecting the qi around the public region, cultivating the dan.

Slowly stand up, naturally complete the qigong.

Qigong knowledge: Qigong therapy include psychological cure method. But it is different with psychological cure method which means doctors use language, expression, stance, attitude to explain reason or make suggestion to the patients in conscious or unconscious state. The patients are always passive. Qigong therapy can let patients initiatively engage in therapy.
The substantial difference between qigong and religion: Qigong is a kind of science, not involved in any doctrine of religions. The tao religion and buddhism have recorded much information about ancient qigong. Although there are many different kinds of qigong exercises, all of them put importance to the same reqirement: practising easily, harmony between qi and your minds, balance between action and cultivation, balance between action and meditation, gradual improving from easy level to difficult level, being persistent, controlling or refraining from your normal life. But not all people are suitable to practise qigong, those having mental diseases, massive haemorrhage, pyrogenic, acute disease or acute infectious disease are not suitable to practise qigong.

Keeping qi and cultivating spirit qigong exercises


The method of keeping qi and cultivating spirit is quoted as saying by taoist abbot of kuangchangxiu in an interview: "I am nearly eighty years old, in good spirits, my fitness experience is: when you keep righteousness, the Spirit of God often stay with you, talk less as far as possible, close eyes to cultivate spirit."
     
First, collect the righteous qi of universe.  Every morning, in particular, the monthly first, the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixteen ,these six days, choose the place full of fresh air, facing the south or to the east, using the standing stance or sitting stance are all ok, relax, calm down; Use your hands to hold the universe qi into your lungs from your front. Hold the qi above your head, turn the center of your palms aimed at baihui acupuncture point, imagine the universe righteous qi flow from baihui acupuncture point to your heart. It will calm your brain, helpful for your chest, abdominal cavity and all of your organs. Then drop down your hands slowly and breathe out the dirty qi inside your body, do it 3-9 times at the beginning, gradually increase to 21,36,49 times.
     
Second: Imagine spirit of the void. In the morning or before sleeping, using the stance of crossing-legs or just sitting casually are all ok. Put your hands on your knees with palms facing upwards, imagine there is a light point in your bellybutton, changing from red color to white color, slowly form a gas ballon, then slowly spin on your abdomen, 21 rounds from left to right, then 21 rounds from right to left. At last, the gas ballon appoach the gate of life, the gas ballon travel from kidney, to liver, to your heart. It made you feel satisfactory, calm and joyful. 

Third, stimulate holy water. Sit quietly every day, use your tongue to touch palate. Your tongues continuously swirls in your mouth, that would generate much holy water.

Qigong knowledge:
Circle of vital energy: It can be divided as large circle of vital energy and small circle of vital energy. Small circle would open the ren xue(conception vessel) and the du xue(governor vessel), while the large circle would open all the eight extra channels in your body.
Inward vision: Qigong practisers concentrate their will into the inside parts of their bodies. That would enable them the see the inside images of their bodies.
Public region: It includes upper public region, middle public region and lower public region.
Coordination between spiritual and physical Life: Experienced qigong practisers can reach the state of harmony between their body and spirit.
Coordination between inside and outside: Qigong practisers do action qigong exercises to enhance the physical body. Qigong practisers do meditation exercises to enhance their minds.
Coordination between man and woman: Experienced qigong practisers can enhance their “essence,qi and spirit” through sex behavior.

massage of five acupuncture points qigong exercises


First, the qihai acupuncture point massage

" qihai acupuncture point " that is part of the Taoist called pubic region, the center of gravity for the body, instinct hub. It is located a half inches below the belly button.
Massage Methods: The right palm aligns close to the qihai acupuncture point, according to a clockwise direction in small circles, the medium circle, large circle, massage 100-200 times. Then use left palm, with a counter-clockwise direction, massage 100-200 times like the previous action, until you feel hot , that would be effective.
Massage "qihai acupuncture point ", the traditional Chinese health experience thinks that will enable all of the body parts to run smooth. Actually it can also promote gastrointestinal motility, blood smoothly, strengthen the liver and digestive function.

Second, the "Gate of Life" and "Shenshu" massage

The above two acupuncture points massage: rub the two palms relatively to fever, close to the back sides of the second and fourth vertebrae , 3-4 inch area, strongly rub from top to bottom. Every fifty times, and then rub both hands to fever again, repeat it. Totally 4 rounds, 200 times, until your whole body feels warm. There are great benefits for your body.
Regular massage of "Gate of Life" and "Shenshu" acupuncture points, can enhance the adrenal gland, stimulate the central nervous system. There are great benefits for the heart, liver, lung, spleen, stomach, kidney and the circulatory system and blood pressure. 

Third, "Zusanli" massage
Zusanli massage: use the left and right thumbs to massage Zusanli acupuncture point on both knees for about 100-200 times. It can enhance the strength, relieve fatigue, helpful for spleen and stomach, prevention of many diseases. Such as headache, dizziness, hypertrophic rhinitis.
 
"Yongquan" acupuncture point is located one third distance to the soles of the feet.
Massage methods: sitting uprightly, put your right leg on the left leg. Use right hand to hold toes and use the left palm to rub the sole of right feet , didn’t count how many times until your leg fevers.
Massage of "Yongquan", is a good stimulus for the brain cortex, through reflex, makes people feel relaxed and comfortable. It’s the prevention for neurasthenia and insomnia.


Qigong Knowledge: Acupuncture points are considered as the qi traffic station inside the human body. In modern science, acupuncture points are found as the location of highest electric potential energy on the skin. It’s mostly passed by nerve trunks or nerve ending. To stimulate acupuncture points would cause the feeling of numbness, swelling, itch, pain and grief. There are around 702 known acupuncture points in the human body.
